Zoos
A zoo is noted place for keeping the animals intact and displayed in the public. The introduction of the zoo came into existence when the London Zoological gardens opened a public display of the animals in early 1847. The animal collections have increased in the recent years and the public are used to seeing the huge collection of the very familiar species. The term Zoological Park was used in Washington during the year 1899. The ancient man saw the Mother Nature at its best displaying the variety of the flora and fauna. 21st century has seen the appearance of the Zoos in a most unpredictable manner. The animals are kept in outdoor enclosures. The new concepts of roadside Zoos are also seen in North America in the interior locations. Most of the parks have come out with some brilliant ideas to incorporate the idea of animal theme park. Dolphins are displayed in the public aquariums. A specific regime in maintained for these animals by the Zoo authorities. Different programs are also co coordinated by the Zoo authorities in order to spread the awareness of keeping the animals protected.
But due to improper care and hygiene the condition of these Zoos are gradually on the process of decline. The authorities have neglected the maintenance of these animals which has resulted in severe damages killing huge number of wildlife's. The national parks and sanctuaries are also showing signs of extinction, which in other words are dangerous for the human beings.
